Marinate the chicken cubes with all spices mentioned , insert them onto the grill skewers, and leave them to marinate for an hour in the fridge.
Over medium heat in a frying pan, heat the oil and cook the onions with the spices, covering them until the onions are wilted and cooked.
In a hot cast iron over high heat, place the chicken skewers then turn heat to low and cook for 10 mins or until they are cooked, rotating them while cooking on all sides.
To serve, spread the onions on the bread and arrange the chicken skewers on top.
Garnish with nuts, pomegranates, chopped parsley and serve with mint yoghurt sauce.
